The church of Saint James the Apostle (‘former Post Office’)

One the most ancient houses of prayer of Valvasone is the church dedicated to Saint James the Apostle, now incorporated in a set of constructions that rise along the northern side of the cathedral, in the so-called “House of the parish church”, now the former Post Office building, currently the seat of the Tourist Information Board. The church houses some remains of frescoes, depicting saints, that represent important and precious evidence of Friulian 14th-century painting.
